Narciso Ibáñez Serrador (4 July 1935 – 7 June 2019), also known as Chicho Ibáñez Serrador or by the pen name Luis Peñafiel, was a Spanish television, film and theater director, actor and screenwriter. He received many accolades throughout his career including the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Spanish Television Academy in 2002, the National Television Award presented by the Spanish Ministry of Culture in 2010 and the Honorary Goya Award presented by the Spanish Film Academy in 2018.
Some of his credits include the creation and direction of the television shows Historias para no dormir, Historia de la frivolidad, and Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez in Televisión Española, and the writing and direction of the feature films The House That Screamed (1969) and Who Can Kill a Child? (1976).

NEWS OF THE STAGE; ' The Ugly Runts' for Broadway Next Season -- Some Wandering Scripts -- Notes on Summer Theatres.

A new producing firm, a new play and a new playwright will come together next season when Robinson Smith and Frederick W. Ayer present "The Ugly Runts," by Robert Raynolds. The play, which deals with the mass suicide attempt of Hungarian miners last Fall, had its world premiere on June 10 last at Ann Arbor, Mich., as a feature of Robert Henderson's dramatic festival.
NEWS OF THE STAGE; Mr. Wiman Returns With Plans for Van Druten Play -- 'Accent on Youth' to Close on Saturday Night.

Dwight Deere Wiman arrived from London yesterday on the Champlain with some plans and contracts for "Most of the Game," but with none at all for "A Room in Red and White." For the former play, which he will present in association with Auriol Lee, he has engaged Robert Douglas and Dorothy Hyson.
